We are running CISCO virtual WLC release 7.6.100 on VMware VSphere 5.5 with two ESXi hosts and VMotion. Physical environment: HP Blades, SAN. When we use V-Motion technology to rehost vWLC, licenses for all access points are gone right after the first restart. Every time we have to call CISCO to retrieve new license file. Cisco engineers never explained to us how to resolve this without having to call them every time. They referred to VMware issue. Moreover, CISCO does not have any procedure to revoke licenses on Virtual WLC to later restore on the rehosted vWLC. They only have this procedure for physical WLC. Thank you.
